Easy target but Nolan was blowing out of his arse 10 mins into the second half, was painful to watch.

Too predictable today in good positions but will give Brown and O'Shea some credit.

Decent point, we'll smash Leicester.

Bobby Moore was a defender mate

I'm not sure we've ever had anyone as good as Song in midfield

Erm.....Bobby Moore?

I don't understand the anti Carroll stuff he destroyed Swansea last week... Had to start this week...

Enner started last week and was poor...

Subs should haven been made earlier guile was needed

Next week Morgan or noble has to start with Nolan on the bench...

The trouble is we still have the wrong mentality he made the right change too late because he respects the point too much...

Agreed, he loves London and appears to love it at West Ham

One Song
We've only got one Song

Ak..... I hope to god we can keep Song. I'd hate to see him in an Arsenal, Manure or Citeh shirt next season

Brave post possible close to the truth.
I was anti as most. However I could see the owners saying keep us here for two years and we will improve the squad. Andy Carroll's your bonus present. AC got injured nearly went wrong. He did keep us up, now we have a decent squad and look where we are.

Alex Song is an absolute joy to watch, he just glides past players and some of his passes today were simply pure class. Can honestly say it's been a long time since we've had a player like that and hope to God we can find a away to keep him permanently.

Agree that we should rotate the strikers and give the Valencia / Sakho partnership another go.... Carroll has played four matches in quick succession and he should start from the bench next week and be a great impact sub for the last 25mins.

Were there any new injuries today?

Sunderland v West Ham designated as game 6 of 7 in the MOTD running order.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Leicester, Burnley, West Brom, Sunderland, Palace

I would also like this. I'm not going to grumble about the result today though.

Re: Sunderland v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-1FT
I'd like the Sakho Valencia partnership reunited with Downing behind in the middle
Not saying I dont like Carroll but the football we were playing then was really good

Re: Sunderland v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-1FT
I'd have taken a point before the game, this always looked a tricky fixture.

Slightly disturbed by the inclusion of Nolan but hopefully he'll be fucked off when Noble is fit.

Comfortable win against Leicester would be nice and then we get to scare the shit out of some teams in games we're not meant to win. I fancy us to take some points from Chelsea and Arsenal. Loving this season so far.

Re: Sunderland v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-1FT
Absolutely this needs to be put in perspective. A draw at Sunderland, who themselves played well at times is nothing to be sneered at.

It was a fair result today and I think we've been just a little spoiled of late and while of course we want the wins to keep coming who could possibly ask any more of the club this season?

We're not Liverpool or Man U Fans so why start sounding like them.

Re: Sunderland v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-1FT
A draw was maybe fair enough but still disappointing given our recent performances, the effort was there but we seemed to lack that final bit in front of goal, Valencia should have come on sooner IMO.
